Third-party notices

karanow is built on open models, libraries and community data. The notices below are reproduced from the file shipped inside the app.

Demo recording on this site

The recording used by the demo on the home page is “Amazing Grace”, performed by Southern Aire of the United States Air Force Reserve Band. It is a work of the US federal government and is in the public domain; it is credited here as a courtesy rather than an obligation. The two stems on this site were produced from it with karanow’s own separation.

Montserrat

The karanow wordmark and app icon are drawn from Montserrat Black. The glyphs are converted to outlines at build time, so neither the app nor the website ships a font file. The typeface and a copy of this licence live in Design/, which is a source directory: the build takes only Kara.icns from it, so the font is never packaged or served.
